Untraditional Wedding Dresses for Gen Z

Wedding season has arrived and I am so excited to start adding to my Wedding Pinterest board, not that I will be walking down the aisle anytime soon, but it's still fun to plan! Lately I have been loving these untraditional wedding dresses that would be perfect for a Gen Z wedding.

This beautiful dress is perfect for an untraditional Gen Z wedding. The columns of flower pedals and tiny leaves make for an earthy vibe, very on trend for a young bride.

The intricate lace and crochet details on this dress are amazing. With 60’s fashion coming back I can definitely see a boho bride walking down the aisle in this dress. The cut outs are very modern, but the flower design pays homage to the groovy 60’s.

Silk and satin dresses have been trending for a while now, we all see those Instagram baddies in their ruched tie front satin dresses and they look gorgeous. However, this floor length glossy silk gown would turn heads at your wedding ceremony. Silk is a very flattering fabric because it clings to everything you want it to and nothing you don’t, ensuring that you will look radiant on your big day.

This wedding jumpsuit is giving me all the 70’s vibes and I’m here for it. A bride in pants on her wedding day? Never heard of it. I am going to channel my inner strength and use all my willpower not to add this to my cart.

If anyone is going to be seen eating gelato on her wedding day, it's going to be me. This high leg slit and pink and green flowers on the puffed sleeve shout fashionista, and they are calling my name. The best part is no one will expect to see multicolored designs on your white gown.

Business in the front, party in the back. This pants and top set is anything but traditional, and will be a thousand times easier for you to dance your ass off all night long. If you are an untraditional girlie like me, but still want to feel like a queen on your bid day, then this is a perfect middle ground as the top leads into a long, lace train.

Where are all my “I hate Valentine’s Day” people at? This dress is for you! If you love, love but hate the way America capitalizes on it, then this is your sign to wear a black wedding dress. Not only will you be making a statement, but there is not one person on earth that looks bad in the color black.

I hope all my Gen Z readers were inspired by these untraditional wedding dresses. Don’t let anyone tell you what you can or can’t wear on a day that celebrates you and your partner. It doesn’t matter if you wear pants, a dress, or even a suit, all that matters is that you are radiating love.
