Snail Mail delivered a passionate performance in Columbus, Ohio.
Snail Mail, known also as Lindsey Jordan, made a quick stop at the Athenaeum Theatre in downtown Columbus, Ohio as one of the finals shows in her US Tour celebrating her sophomore album, Valentine.
The now 23-year-old, released her first album, Lush, at 17 to much acclaim. The songwriter’s duality in conveying vulnerability and confidence has become a beloved facet of Jordan’s ever-evolving lyricism. The song “Heat Wave,” off the freshman album, has been streamed more than 24 million times on Spotify.
Valentine, released November 5, 2021, explores Lindsey Jordan’s understanding of heartbreak and the tumultuous landscape of love. Written and conceptualized by Lindsey herself from 2019-2020, the album came to be in a small home studio in Durham, California with the help of producer Brad Cook (Bon Iver, Waxahatchee), engineer Alex Farrar and bandmates Alex Bass and Ray Brown.
