Tour Diaries: Samia

Samia is truly a one of kind performer, and her level of intensity and passion fills a glaring void in the current landscape of live shows.

Samia's sophomore album, Honey, released January 27, 2023, three years after her debut album, The Baby. Honey is self-assured, raw, and genuinely incredible. The weight and direct nature of Samia's lyrics give each track an emotional gravity and depth that is hard to come by in today's music landscape. A true feat of artistry, Samia's has on our toes for what she'll do next, and maybe we'll just have to see her again on the remaining leg of the Honey Tour that picks back up in April.

The current Nashville-based artist, Samia played a hometown show at a packed Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, TN to close out the end of her first leg of Honey Tour. Samia is a force to be reckoned with, an incredible control of her vocal abilities and her pure joy and fun on stage blends into an out of this world performance. An absolute rollercoaster of emotions that is the setlist, takes you from sobbing to dancing with the performance of "Breathing Song" straight into "Honey." Samia's banging dance moves and never-ending energy keeps you glued to her the entire night as she bounces around the stage; Samia is truly a one of kind performer and her level of intensity and passion fills a glaring void in the current landscape of live shows.
