The Kyoto-based band, Otoboke Beaver, made a stop at the Echoplex in Los Angeles.
Otoboke Beaver is a punk-rock-garage band native to Kyoto,Japan. Conformed of lead vocalist and guitarist Accorinrin, vocalist and guitarist Yoyoyoshie, bassist and vocalist Hiro-chan, and drummer and vocalist Pop, the band named themselves after a local "Love Hotel." The most unique thing of this band lies in the details. Otoboke Beaver sings at fast speeds, often in Japanese using slang from their native Kyoto.
In 2017, the band experienced their breakthrough year, which included climbing up the UK and global charts, as well as, two slots at the Coachella festival in California. Most recently, the band releases a new single titled "Chu Chu Song."
