Today, WOLF releases "Get Off My," a new song from her forthcoming debut album.
There’s a new artist you didn't know you needed in your life: Julia Wolf. We are certain that the Queens, New York native is going to be the only thing you hear about in the very near future. After watching her amazing performance at Gov Ball in NYC, we were invited to attend her private showcase at Soho House in which she performed her new songs ‘Hot Killer’, which is an anthem for finding your inner bad-ass’; and her song ‘‘Virginity’ in which she shares a vulnerable story with listeners, one which all of us can relate to when it comes to our beliefs about sex.
Julia, also known as WOLF, will be releasing her first debut album ‘Good Thing We Stayed’ in January 2023. Throughout the show, she told the story of a moment in her life in which she had decided to move to Italy to set up a business with her dad, which meant leaving her music dreams behind. After her dad sold their house, and had everything ready to go, something abruptly changed. Julia’s dad sat her daughter down and said, “We can’t move.” While Julia thought he was being crazy at first, her dad had a feeling that something greater was meant for her and her music, which is why they could not leave New York. While Julia said that she did lose it a bit after her dad told her this, two months later in New York city, she happened to meet the producer with whom she would create this album. And we are very sure it will be nothing short of pure success.
Julia Wolf’s music will impact you real and raw, and that’s what we love about her. Every single lyric carries meaning; a storyline that will leave you feeling more human and realizing that every moment in life might have a greater purpose than what we know. Just today, Julia released her single "Get Off My" from her forthcoming debut album. Without a doubt, this album will skyrocket Julia Wolf's success and establish her as one of the most unique sounds of the moment.
