From Glastonbury to Coachella, and throwing into the mix their ultra viral hit "Heat Waves," this year has brought the biggest ride for Glass Animals.
Dave Bayley, Ed Irwin-Singer (bass), Drew MacFarlane (guitar) and Joe Seaward (drums), better known as Glass Animals, released their first album, Zaba, back in 2014. It was a subtle and quiet debut. Their latest viral hit, Heat Waves, has garnered millions of streams and views, becoming one of the most popular songs on TikTok as well.
“We thought we’d go back to our jobs,” Bayley said.
That was until the incredible song "Gooey" became a platinum-certified viral streaming hit. The band has since then racked up over two billion streams, performed on TV shows like Late Night with James Corden and Jimmy Kimmel, and toured the globe from festivals like Glastonbury to Primavera and Red Rocks to Coachella.
