Kim Kardashian’s brand SKIMS is set to drop a collaboration with the fashion giant Fendi in just a week.

This summer Kardashian released a post that now seems to have been a teaser on her Instagram. The picture featured Fendi’s Kim Jones and Versace’s Donatella Versace, but at the time it seemed to be just another celeb hangout Instagram post.

Donatella Versace has had many public friendships and collaborations with celebrities in the past, so her appearance in this picture just made sense. Versace and Fendi also dropped one of the most iconic luxury fashion collaborations of the century, in my opinion, just around the time of Kardashian’s post.

However, the Artistic Director of Fendi’s Women’s collection, Kim Jones, took over the role that was run by none other than the fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld for 54 years. Jones was designing for Dior before he joined Fendi in 2021.

Nevertheless, the collaboration collection is fire. It’s definitely better than what I think any of us expected.

What started as a simple shapewear brand, SKIMS is taking off in the fashion world. Kim Kardashian West has proven to make a name for herself in the industry and she’s doing a great job with this brand.
