In the midst of the announcement of her signing with Elektra Records, the Helsinki-native singer and songwriter Erika Sirola releases her debut single "End of the Day." Opening with a unique and melodic tune that makes you feel like you're in your favorite coffee shop, the song quickly grows into an emotional powerhouse. Erika's voice is refreshing, tugging at your heartstring when combined with the profound lyrics.
“I’m thrilled to finally announce my signing with Elektra and get my music out into the world – I couldn’t have asked for a better team to back my art,” said Erika in a press release. “I wrote ‘End Of The Day’ at a time when I felt like I couldn’t hold onto anything or grow roots anywhere. I love how you feel like the song’s ending, then it launches into this very grandiose ambient soundscape.”
Erika Sirola has earned a place in our new artists to watch list. The 23-year-old Finland native is not only a talented singer, but she is a longtime piano player, guitarist, and clothing designer, as well as, a visual artist who designed the song's artwork.
